About Claire - Food Wellbeing

After having my fourth child and for the first time in my life I became over weight. I went from a size 8, weighing 9 stone (I am 6ft) unto a size 16/18 and weighing 13.
I started to suffer with very bad pains in my stomach for over a year - I went to my doctors and was told I had a uterus infection. After six months of antibiotics, I developed thrush again which I'd had on and off for a year.
I was unable to lose weight and developed really bad skin, patches which were flaky, red and sore. I had very bad digestive problem such as constipation, diarrhoea, sickness, bloated.

I was so lost the doctors told me at the age of 24 I had IBS irritable bowel syndrome. I asked them what food would cause this and received a huge list: milk, wheat, diary, sugary foods, fatty foods, spicy foods, some fruits - the list was endless.
What can I eat I thought?

A friend, who had pulled their back and was having treatment by a chiropractor, noticed a sign which described a lot of my symptoms - it was a Kinesiologist.

I decided to go, the testing made me laugh and I really thought how on earth can this help me? The Kinesiologist told me I had developed an overload of bad bacteria in my gut - I was advised to under go a detox.

The detox was hard, but the results of the next three to six weeks were amazing, within a week my skin condition completely gone. I stopped feeling bloated as I was now able to have my bowels open and had no more diarrhoea The pain in my stomach for the first time in 18 months disappeared and I lost 16lb.

After the detox, I was then tested for lots more foods that may cause problems, and I felt so good.

Other members of my family decided to try this treatment and again had amazing results.

In august 2004 I decided to study kinesiology. I started with a basic course of six weeks, I was hooked. Kinesiology offers so much.

I did my training with The Academy of Systematic Kinesiology in London. I then decided to start my practioners course, because I wanted to show people how by changing a few simple things they too can change their lives.

Before I sat my practioners course I had to take a diploma in an anatomy and physiology, this was tough going with four kids, but I did it.

I then studied my practitioner’s course and in September 2006 I became a registered practitioner.

I am also registered with Association of Systematic Kinesiology, the governing body - if you go to their website you will see that I am registered.
